Four Decades of Engineering Mumbai's Built Environment

Piyush Mehta's story begins in Ujjain, where he completed his B.Com from Vikram University before moving to Mumbai to start a career in construction. His first roles as Office Manager at Sanjawala Construction and Goyal Property & Estate gave him an unusually deep appreciation for the administrative and contractual machinery that underpins every successful project.

He soon transitioned to on-ground responsibility, taking up site management assignments in Dahisar East before stepping out as an independent labour contractor and material supplier — building, in the process, a network of skilled craftspeople and trusted suppliers that powers Building Aid to this day.

His career then expanded into interior and turnkey project execution, including a notable engagement with People Group in Bhopal on the Medical College & Hospital project through Gherzi Eastern Consulting. Over four decades, his project portfolio has spanned everything from G+4 residential blocks to 21-storey twin-basement towers — a span of complexity and scale few in the industry can match.
